Motion made to amend our Bylaws – in the vacancy section article 4 section 6,
removing the words “NEXT REGULAR’ it states, “If there is a vacancy in any other
office, members will fill the vacancy through an election at the next regular
meeting.” We would like to replace with “AT A MEETING” to allow more time
for potential interest to gather information about the position that need filled.

o Offering a tee shirt for Mr. Z’s fundraising initiative. Proceeds from the ‘baby devil t-
shirt’ will go directly to the items/incentives he provides through the year. This includes
Pizza with the Principal, Core 5 incentives, good behavior prizes, staff incentives, etc.
Upcoming Events:
- Pumpkin Painting Party – October 23 rd 6-8PM
o RSVPs were sent home
o Students from Art Club and the high school clubs have been recruited to help aid in this
event.
o Proud Pumpkins will be displayed at the Historical School House Park and will be lit up
the evening of Oct 24 th for all to see. Students from Pep Club and Art Club will also be
displaying their pumpkins as well.
o Parents can choose to take their pumpkins after the event if they do not want to have
them displayed
o All Pumpkins must be collected by Saturday from the park, or they will be disposed of by
the Rd Dept.
o Thank the Dotsons for their generous donation of pumpkins.

- Boo-Hoo Breakfast was a great turnout, and the Kindergarten Welcome Campaign turnout was huge with 15 visits
- PTO sold croc charms and stickers at Open House - $72 worth sold
- Purchased yard letters from Victory Yard Signs (Cost: $266.49) – Board approved of an additional budget of $100 to order the remaining letters
- Spirit Wear:
o T-shirts will be live ASAP when pricing is discussed with Artistic Sil Screens – will also have a website option
§ Showed Mr. Z t-shirt that will be sold with spirit wear sale this fall – proceeds from the sale of this shirt will go to Mr. Z principal fund (Pizza with the Principal, Core 5 incentives, good behavior prizes, staff incentives, etc.
o Blankets (brought blanket from previous sale in) will be sold this fall (working with Colleen from Love My Leggings Boutique) Min required is 50 at $20 each with price decrease as qty goes over 50 – sell for $30-35 TBD
o Garden Flags min is 20 at $9 each and would sell for $12-15 - will be offered in the Spring (more info at future meetings)

Boots and Beauties Rodeo had 175 guests attend. Cost to put on was $943.22, RSVP’s and a generous donation covered $691.
The Color Dash event will be held on April 27th at Lordstown Park. Papers have been sent home with students and a sign up forum has been made. Henry’s Hard Work has donated the cost of an inflatable start line. We will use this for different events and also give the option for others to rent it for $75 to host events. Jump Around Rentals will be covering 50% of the cost of the 30ft obstacle course as a sponsorship. Lordstown parks will help with set up and marking out the dash.
PTO Meetings have moved to the first Thursday of the month. The meetings will be at the following dates at 6PM;

Nominations for board positions for the 2025-2026 school year were voted on. All positions were up for nominations. Stephanie Danadic was nominated for president; Samantha Clemens and Jessica Kihm were nominated for Vice President; Jessica Kihm, Katelynn Knapp, and Dawn Byer were nominated for Secretary; and Jennifer Kramarczyk was nominated for Treasurer.

Katelynn Knapp is the new Spirit-ware Committee Head.
Games with Grandparents will be a two day event. Games, coloring sheets, beverages, and breakfast items will be available. This event will be held on May 19th and 20th. More will be discussed at the May meeting when finalized with the school. Volunteers available are Katelynn Knapp, Stephanie Danadic, Samantha Clemens (20th), Jackie Hrusovsky, and Dawn Byer
Staff Appreciation Week will be held May 5th-9th. Stephanie Danadic asked for an increase to the teacher budget of $127, due to only having $123.81 left in the current budget. All were in favor. A coffee station will be put in place in the teachers lounge in lieu of the coffee cart. A sign up sheet will be sent out to parents to donate items or to sponsor a box of Joe to stock the lounge and coffee station. Dates and location for pick up TBD.
Kindergarten graduation and 6th grade awards ceremony will be held on May 30. Kindergarten graduation will be at 9am in the Elementary cafeteria. Stephanie Danadic will head Kindergarten graduation. Sixth grade awards will be at 11:30am in the High School auditorium. Samantha Clemens and Dawn Byer will head the 6th grade event. More will be decided at the May meeting.
May 7th is the art show. A budget of $100 was asked for by Stephanie Danadic to purchase a balloon arch and items to make the balloon arch for the show. The balloon arch will be used at school and PTO events going forward. All were in favor of budget and purchase.
It was voted on to do an Apple Cider Festival sponsorship. We will sponsor the magician for $175 and the Yard Jenga for $60, bringing our sponsorship total to $235. All were in favor.
This year we will once again have a snow cone and sunscreen station at Fun Day on May 27th.

Oh Wow! Field trip will be held Wednesday, March 19th for K-2. Total estimated price for this event is $430, but will be charged by how many kids are in attendance that day. Six parents (2 from each grade) will be allowed as chaperones. This will be picked by a random draw.
Boots and Beauties Rodeo planned for Friday, March 21st from 6-8PM. This will be held as a mother/son, daddy/daughter event. RSVP’s are due March 13th. Cost has been updated to $5 per couple, $3 per additional guest in advance. Price at the door will be $10 per couple, $3 per additional guest. A sign up sheet for volunteers will be going out and volunteers would be needed for a rotation of 30 minutes.
Color Run event will be held at the park on April 27th. A committee will be formed and volunteers will be needed. Cost is still in discussion at this time. Food for purchase at this event will be Lordstown Little League food trailer, possibly Kona Ice or Rita’s as a fundraising opportunity, or offering a frozen novelty (snow cone/ice cream sandwich/icee pop). A paper will be sent out March 31st with a return date of April 11th.
Book Drive for the Elementary will be the entire month of March. A bin/box has been placed outside, which was donated by Sam Clemens to use in the future.
A flyer has been made for Bounce Around rentals and will be sent home shortly with students in both the elementary and high school.
We will not be doing an amazon wishlist for teachers at this time.

Due to baseball/softball schedule conflicts we have updated our by-laws to now do nominations and elections in our April meeting going forward. All board members were in favor.

We welcomed Jennifer Kramarczyk as our new Treasurer for the rest of this school year.
Cupid Grams are available to purchase until February 10th. Items to choose from are mini playdoh, invisible pens, squishies, or a surprise which are items left over from last years grams.
Oh Wow! Field trip will be held Wednesday, March 19th for K-2.

Color Run event will be held at the park, with date being in April or May, time around 1-2PM. We discussed getting a hot dog trailer and asking Lordstown Little League to use their concession. Grab bags with sunglasses, t-shirt, etc. A color run committee will be formed and a post will be put out. New Business:
A fundraising opportunity from Jump Around Rentals was brought to Stephanie. This is a Lordstown family owned business. They are willing to offer us 10% profit on any rentals using a special promo code. They asked if we could send a flyer home to students in return. Water slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, snow cone machines, tents, tables, chairs, dunk tanks, and more are available to rent.
Mrs. Gigliotti asked us if we could run a book drive for the library. We will collect new and used books for the library to give to students for their birthdays and as special incentives. We are looking to run this in March along with Dr Seuss week. We will have a bin to collect books outside and children can also bring them in to the school.
We have started an Amazon wishlist entitled Lordstown PTO on Amazon. We would like to ask teachers to send us links to items they would like to use as incentives or STEM items in their classrooms. The items would be marked with the teachers name and we would deliver to the school.
We discussed having a Donuts with Dads and Muffins with Mom event. We would like to see the interest of these events and touch base with Mr. Z
We would like to put a post out to see if anyone has ideas for other events they would like to see.

Spirit Wear round two was voted on to move forward with. Looking at possibly doing Big Dog Chains as well as clothing.
Santa’s Workshop brought in $5560. Our expenses for this event were $3000. Leaving us with a profit of $2560
Kaytlin Longston's position of Treasurer is available. A special meeting is set for Thursday, January 16 at 6PM in the STEM Center for nominations and voting.
We are looking at holding the Color Run at the park on a Sunday in April. Possible dates we are looking at are April 6th or 13th. Stephanie is going to talk with the parks department. We will be making a post to see if we can get enough interest in volunteers and creating a committee. Jennifer Kramarczyk will head this event.

March/February Event - We are looking at doing a mommy/son, daddy/daughter event in February/March. We talked about possibly doing a fun event for mommy/son and possible dance for daddy/daughter. We will be making a committee to see what interest we have in volunteers. Tiffany Hartman, Jessica Kihm, Shana McCord, and Jackie Hrusovsky are interested in helping with this event. Samantha Clemens is heading the event.
6th Grade Graduation - All were in favor of keeping the blanket for the graduation gift. A budget of $500 is set.
Cupid Grams - A budget of $300 has been set. Dawn Byer is head of this event. Papers will be going out the end of January.

Meeting Minutes November 13, 2024 at 6:00PM

We opened the meeting up with the treasurers report. As of 11/13/24 our checking account balance is $4,889.00 and our savings account balance is $5,235.82.
Updates:
We will be doing an entire school field trip with the money brought in from coin wars. A bowling party will be taking place on November 25th and 26th for grades 3-6. Cost of the field trip is $3 per student, per game, at two games. Total price is $708 for 118 students. For grades K-2 will attend Oh Wow! In the month of March (dates pending on availability). Cost of the field trip is $5 per student. Total price is $420 for 84 students.
Trunk or Treat was a success! We had a turn out of over 300 treaters and 55 trunks. Budget for the event was $300, total spent $302.
Boo Grams brought in $916 with a cost of $160.37, with a budget of $200.
Pumpkin Paint Party and Walk had 96 pumpkins painted. Every student was able to participate by bringing home a donated pumpkin to decorate. Each student received a ribbon on their pumpkin. Total cost was $327.
Giving Thanks to our Staff and Teachers will begin the week of 11/11-11/14 with coffee cart running every morning. Total cost for the cart was $123.86 plus a $25 donation from Sam’s Club. Thank you cards will also be delivered to all of the Elementary Staff and Superintendent the week of Thanksgiving. Price of the thank you cards were $13.86. Conference Dinner will be provided on 11/14 with Texas Roadhouse salad and rolls (donated), 5 Sandwich Factory subs, 60 pieces broasted and fried chicken, pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, and drinks. Estimated cost of the dinner is $174.06. Whatever items are left from coffee cart will be used to stock the teachers lounge. Stock the Lounge will be moved to May for Teacher Appreciation due to the school was running the Hurricane Relief Drive.
Santa’s Workshop will run 12/10 - 12/12 . We will be reaching out to get volunteers shortly.
Spirit Wear was delivered the week of Halloween. Next round is TBD. Income on all items sold was $1067.24 (not including cash purchases at Apple Cider Festival) Charms and Stickers are still available to purchase.
New Business:
A Color Run event was brought up to possibly do in April. Jennifer K is going to look more into this and bring information to the next meeting.
We discussed possibly having a Mother’s Day Event, Father’s Day Event, and Special Someone Dance. We also are going to look back into the Ford Drive event that we have done in the past.
Next year we would like to split up events and fundraisers better.
Talks of changing meetings to the first Thursday of the month starting in January, so we don’t overlap School Board Meetings. This will be voted on at the next meeting.

We opened the meeting up with the treasurers report. As of 10/09/24 our checking account has: $9,900.03 and savings has: $5,235.82
Updates:
Coin Wars brought in $2,638.91. The grade that gets to slime Mr. Z is Kindergarten. The slime event will take place on October 10.
Golf Cart Raffle was not able to bring in the amount needed to pay for the golf cart. The raffle was turned into a 50/50 and Joesph Hurvosky won. This fundraiser brought in $1,925.31.
Trunk or Treat will happen on October 27, 2024 from 1-4PM in the school parking lot. Forms have brought in approximately 40 responses. There will be a costume contest, refreshments (apple cider, coffee, hot chocolate), DJ, and pictures. Three prizes given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for both best car and best costume. Budget was given of $300 at our last meeting on 09/11/2024. Jessica Kihm is head of this event.
Boo Gram paperwork will be sent home on Monday, October 14 and be due back by Monday, October 28. Items for sale for $1 are halloween fidgets, halloween squishy, halloween lighted rings, or a surprise. Boo Grams will be delivered to the school on the morning of October 31 for teachers to give out at the party. Dawn Byer is head of this event.
Pumpkin Paint Party will be held on October 22 from 6-8PM in the elementary cafeteria, parents are to stay. The pumpkins are donated.
the art club (grades 5-6th) will be providing supplies if we run out. Students that are unable to attend will be sent home a pumpkin to paint. We will line up the pumpkins outside during the Halloween parade and will go home with the children. As of 10/09 we have approximately 30 kids who have RSVP’d.
Giving Thanks to our teachers will be held November 18-22. We will once again be taking donations to stock the lounge. We will start taking donations November 1-November 15 and a forum will be sent out for parents to sign up to donate. We will also be doing coffee cart every morning for the teachers. A conference dinner will be held on November 14, if approved by Mr. Z. Thank you cards will be sent out to all administration. Kaytlin Logston will be head of the coffee cart, Stephanie Danadic will be head of conference food and stock the lounge, and Dawn Byer will head thank you cards.
Spirit Wear order was submitted last week with an approximately 2 week turn around. Approximately 105 items were ordered. Profit totals were not available for the meeting. 18/20 yard signs were sold. Jibets and Stickers are still available. Top voted items for new spirit wear are shirts/hoodies, hats, and sweatpants.
Power Wheels had a great turn out with 19 participants. PTO purchased $109 in trophies and prizes. $500 in other supplies was sponsored to put on this event. If this event continues a budget would need increased.
Morning Markers will be revised in the month of November per Mr. Z.
Good Behavior Devil has been purchased with the $30 budget. A motion was put forth by Samantha Clemens for another $50, which all were in favor of. This would cover the cost of the supplies for the bulletin board requested to be made by Mrs. Meese. Every teacher per classroom K-3 will get their own laminated baby devil. As behavior increases the lunch attendants will determine who advances that day. A winner will be announced each week and the winning class gets extra recess.
Santa’s Workshop form will be going out the first week of November/December? to sign up for time slots. Dates of Santa’s Workshop still need approved by Mr. Z. Stephanie Danadic would like to do a craft using school picture stickers and a wooden craft using the Childs fingerprints. A motion was brought forth for a $250 craft budget All were in favor.
New Business:
We are looking at holding a bowling party as a field trip on Monday November 25 and Tuesday November 26 as a give back for the kids and families for the money brought in so far this year. They will be separated by grade K-3 and 4-6. There will be busing for the students. Pricing at Echo Lanes in Warren was $6 per child, which comes to roughly $1218. We would also pay for staff to get in. Chaperones would have to pay for their ticket. We will once again sign up with a raffle system for this event. We are able to bring in food to this event if needed. The time of this event is not set and children may be back in time for lunch. As of 10/09 the bowling alley was available on both days and balls, bumpers, and shooters will be free of charge. Tennis shoes can be worn instead of bowling shoes. A $2000 budget was approved for this event. Stephanie Danadic is head of this event. **Still need approval by administration and can change based on teacher scheduling
A motion was brought up by Stephanie Danadic to give Mr. Z $200 raised from coin wars to his principals fund. He so graciously allowed us to slime him and we would love to give him something back. $200 was approved by all in attendance. A check will either be written or we will purchase items he needs.
Jenn Lee has donated items to give to all the students in Christmas Stockings for a gift to the kids at Christmas.

Meeting Minutes September 11, 2024 6:00 P.M.

We opened our meeting with our July meeting recap and updates on those items. We will have a PTO booth open at the Apple Cider Festival where we will be offering golf cart raffle ticket purchases and spirit wear. The golf cart will also be in display. The Lordstown Apple Cider committee has asked if we would host a PowerWheels race, a budget vote was created on an online platform. Budget was approved with 16 in favor and 1 opposed.
We are starting a “Morning Greeting Crew”. Parents, Grandparents and loved ones can sign up to stand outside of the school doors every morning to say “Good Morning!” and greet the kids getting off the buses. They would not go into the building. We have Mr. Z approval for this already. A sign up sheet will be going home. Stephanie Danadic to head this event.
Coin Wars
This year we are battling the high school! Students will send in spare change and dollars. The winning class of the winning school will get to slime the building principal. Each child will receive their own individual bucket of slime. Stephanie Danadic has the list of supplies needed for us to make our own slime in bulk amounts. Jackie Woodward offered her coin counter for us. A motion was made by Samantha Clemens to set a $200 budget for this event and the vote was unanimously in favor.
Boo Grams
We will be selling Boo Grams this year. Dates are TBD. Children and families can purchase items and they will be delivered to their classrooms. A motion was brought forward by Samantha Clemens to set a budget for $250. The vote for the budget was unanimously in favor. Items have been purchased on Amazon by Kaitlyn Logston. Items purchased to be approved by Dawn Byer. Dawn Byer is heading committee.
Pumpkin Walk
We will be hosting our first pumpkin walk this year. We have multiple private pumpkin donations and can offer a free pumpkin to every student. Students are to paint their pumpkin and return it to the school. Pumpkins will be displayed on the sidewalk/concrete outside of this school for the Halloween Costume Parade. We will reach out to Ms. Griffith on collaborating with her Art Club on a potential after school paint party for families. Stephanie Danadic brought forward to motion to approve a $300 budget for this event. The vote was unanimously in favor.
Trunk Or Treat
We would like to host our first Trunk Or Treat. This event would be pending approval from the school board and superintendent. Preliminary plans for this event would be :
- People can sign up to have their trunks on display for a trunk or treat event.
- It is a bring your own candy event. The PTO will not be providing candy.
- Trunks will be judged and prizes will be given to the top 3 winners.
- We will reach out to the village for donations.
- Sunday October 27, 1-4 P.M.
- Refreshments to be supplied by the PTO

Kaitlyn Logston brought forward a motion for a $300 budget for this event. The vote was unanimously in favor.
Baby Devil PBIS Collaboration with Ms. Meese
We would like to provide the school with a baby Devil to visit classroom based on positive behavior. The class with the best behavior would win the baby devil for a week and then the next week it would move to a new classroom with the best behavior. Samantha Clemens to head this event and reach out to Ms. Meese about collaborating and if this would fit in with her PBIS program.
Santas Workshop
We will be offering Santas workshop this year. Kaitlyn Logston to head this event. She will determine what categories need more purchasing and set budgets based off an inventory list. We have 2 volunteers that offered to help inventory current supplies. A budget was set for $1,000 with an emergency $500 to be kept in reserves for the day of Santas workshop in the event that we run out of items.
Christmas Craft
We would like to offer a Christmas craft this year. We will reach out to Mr. Z on if we should do this craft during their Santas Workshop time frame or if there is another time we can do this with the kids. Everyone in attendance was in favor of a Christmas craft. Stephanie Danadic to head this event and get prices on craft supplies. Budget to be set at next meeting.
